Banking Transactions Are More Secure with SMS Verification

The SMS code sent to your registered mobile phone provides two-step security for transactions conducted through Digital Banking Channels, which include Internet Banking, ATM Banking, SMS Banking, and Telephone Banking. SMS codes sent to mobile phones are one-time use and must be entered within 3 minutes. If the code is not validated within the given timeframe, it becomes invalid. Expired codes will not be re-sent to you or anyone else.

One-Time Password SMS for Internet Banking Login

When logging into Internet Banking, you can securely conduct your banking activities using a one-time password sent to your registered GSM number. After entering the required information for e-password or card login, you must correctly input the one-time password sent to your GSM number on the next screen within the required time. If entered incorrectly, you will need to attempt to log in again.

Transaction Security SMS for Internet Banking 

At the end of transactions performed via Internet Banking, an SMS verification message sent to your registered GSM number allows you to complete your banking transactions more securely. For high-value transfers such as money transfers and EFTs, confirming the SMS code sent to your mobile phone at the final stage ensures a secure transaction.

Security SMS for Telephone Banking

When you contact Telephone Banking, an SMS code is sent to your registered GSM number to verify your identity and secure your account. This SMS code must be correctly shared with the customer representative within 3 minutes without ending the call. If the code is shared incorrectly or you need to call again, a new SMS code will be sent, as the same code cannot be reused.
Since SMS codes are sent to your personal mobile phone, no one else can access your information or perform financial transactions on your behalf, even if they know your personal details.
